At DSF Werks we know that social resources have the potential to make a life changing impact in the lives of underserved and emancipated young people.

What We’re Doing

  • Motor Mondays

    Motor Mondays

Motor Monday is a weekly open garage meetup from 5-8 PM in Long Beach. At these meetups we invite our young people and mentors to show up, hangout, work on project vehicles or personal vehicles and share a meal together. This weekly event is also open to the community and all friends of DSF Werks.

  • Internships

    Internships

We currently offer part-time internships to select program participants. Our commitment is to see these young men and women transition into healthy and thriving independence. Providing a paid internship allows for consistent training and mentoring while these young adults establish themselves as a part of the community.

  • Mobile Werks

    Mobile Werks

Our DSF Werks mobile workshop trailer gives us the freedom to take our program on the road whenever and wherever we see a need. It also allows us to host and participate in outreach events on school campuses, car shows and community functions, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with other organizations on their home turf.

Our hope is to establish DSF Werks Community Centers in cities all over the country. We seek to intentionally select cities that have the greatest need for programs that offer workplace skills and mentorship to emancipated and disadvantaged youth.
